Frequently asked questions

Is this invoice template GST compliant?

Yes. If you add your GSTIN and your client's GSTIN, the invoice calculates CGST+SGST for same-state clients or IGST for out-of-state clients automatically. If you are not GST registered, skip those fields and the invoice is generated without GST.

Do I need a GST number to use this invoice template?

No. GST registration is optional. If your annual turnover is below the threshold (₹20 lakh for most states), you do not need to register. The invoice works whether or not you charge GST.

Can I add multiple line items to the invoice?

Yes. Add as many line items as your project needs, each with its own description, quantity, and rate. The subtotal, GST, and total are calculated automatically as you type.

How do I add UPI details to my invoice?

Once your account is created, add your UPI ID and bank details once in Settings, and they are printed automatically on every invoice you send from Rinto going forward.

Can I download this invoice as a PDF right away?

After you fill in the details here, create a free account to see your invoice inside Rinto, ready to download as a PDF or send directly to your client. No onboarding wizard, no separate setup step.
