This Privacy Policy explains how VMANG LABS LLP ("we", "us", "Rinto") collects, uses, and protects information about you when you use Rinto at tryrinto.com and related services.
1. What we collect
We collect:
- Account info. Your name, email address, password (hashed), and business details you enter such as GSTIN, address, and phone number.
- Content you create. Clients, projects, tasks, time entries, invoices, contracts, expenses, files, and other data you add.
- Usage data. Pages visited, features used, device and browser type, IP address, timestamps. Used to improve the product and diagnose issues.
- Payment info. If you subscribe to Pro or Agency, our payment processor handles card details. We only store subscription status and last four digits of the card.
2. How we use it
- Provide and operate Rinto.
- Send you transactional emails (invoices sent by you, password resets, subscription confirmations).
- Send occasional product updates. You can opt out anytime.
- Improve the product based on how it's used, in aggregate.
- Comply with legal obligations under Indian law.
3. Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with:
- Third party services we use to run Rinto: cloud hosting (Supabase / AWS), payment processing (Razorpay / Stripe), email delivery (Resend). Each is bound by their own privacy commitments.
- Legal authorities if compelled by a valid legal order under Indian law.
4. Where we store it
Your data is stored on servers operated by our cloud infrastructure providers. Some data may be processed outside India by our third party providers. We take reasonable steps to ensure adequate protection.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it (for example, tax records tied to invoices).
6. Your rights
You can:
- Access, correct, or delete your personal information by emailing hello@tryrinto.com.
- Ask us to stop sending you marketing emails.
- Close your account at any time from Settings.
7. Security
We use industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Passwords are hashed. We don't claim to be unhackable, no service can, but we take security seriously and will notify you promptly if a breach affects your account.
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember preferences. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
9. Children
Rinto is not intended for use by anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
10. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
